Streaming live from different sites in a floodplain in the outskirts of Vienna. The Lower Lobau is part of a national park and is in danger of drying up completely in the future. The streaming sites reflect some of the causes for this condition, which has been known for decades. One thing is certain: only with a reconnection to the Danube can the Lobau once again become an independent floodplain, linked to the water dynamics of a river.

Ephem is a temporary webradio streaming live from an ecosystem whose original state is constantly being lost. An old loudspeaker box was converted into a stream box, which allows the soundscape to be sent to this website from a location without infrastructure. The streams are always limited, no sounds are archived.
